Blue Sea Cruises - Offers offers a Dolphin Adventure and Glass Bottom Cruise, Whale Watches in season and an Evening on the Reef Sunset and Glass Bottom Dinner Cruise. They also offer custom charters for Weddings, Anniversaries, Corporate Events and Holiday Celebrations as well as Ash Scatterings at Sea Memorials. The New Spirit of Kona a 70' double deck power catamaran features 2 large glass bottom viewing ports for viewing marine life above and below the waters surface and with underwater downward lights mounted in the hull you have the unique opportunity to view the reef nightlife. Cowboys of Hawaii - Come and see where it all began, Parker Ranch, where paniolos (cowboys) and horses first met 150 years ago. The ride starts at the Blacksmith Shop, going on to the Breaking Pen, through rolling hills to the Stone Corrals, where as many as 5000 head of Hereford cattle were held after being driven down from the slopes of Mauna Kea. From there moving on to more historical sites, such as the Race Track where famous Parker Ranch thoroughnbreds were trained and still hold world records for speed.
Beginner, intermediate and advanced riders can be accommodated from 7 years old, over 250 lbs can be accommodate with prior arrangement. Western style only. Non-english speaking guests are welcomed and easily accommodated. Exclusive Japanese Rides are available. Private rides can be arranged for an additional charge.
For those who choose not to ride and are waiting for others there are Wagon Rides, Historical Homes Tours and the Visitors Center and Museum at the Parker Ranch Shopping Center, are alternate activities available.
Island Breeze Luau - Many consider this luau a "Royal Hawaiian Experience". This traditional luau is held on the beachfront of historic and picturesque Kamakahonu Bay and the grounds of Ahu Ena (Kamehameha-the-Great's former estate at Kailua Kona). The evening begins with a shell lei greeting, picture taking and a display of Polynesian crafts and demonstrations to learn about island traditions. Torches are lit and the conch shell is blown announcing the arrival of the Hawaiian Royal Court by outrigger canoe, the Imu ceremony follows. The Polynesian show will start soon after; a favorite dance of everyone is the dangerous and daring Fire Knife Dance.
Kailua Bay Glass Bottom Boat - This is an excellent trip for families. Even those that do not swim or enjoy the water can view the spectacular colors of the underwater world and learn about Hawaii's marine life and Kona's lore from the friendly crew aboard this unique glass bottom boat.
