Kahua Ranch Adventure Tours - Originally founded in 1928, stories of the ranch are legendary. King Kamehameha assembled his warriors here to train for the conquest of the island chain. During WWII, Kahua was a retreat for modern day soldiers. Owned by the Richards family for the last 82 years, Kahua offers not only a history of both old Hawaii and the Paniolo (Hawaiian Cowboy), but it reaches out and touches you as you walk the property and experience everything it has to offer.
Waimea Historical Tour - Big Island DiscoveryDescription: Leave early morning and head to the edge of Parker Ranch lands and learn the amazing history of one of the largest ranches in the United States. From there, you move right into the history of the 2nd and 5th Marine Divisions and the more than 40,000 Marines who were here during WWII. Then head right into the Hawaiian Cowboy History and learn about the most famous cowboy to come out of Hawaii so far. Then its on to Annas Ranch where you will tour the Historical Home and head into a ranch lunch while listening to tales of our famous Queen of the Paniolo, Anna. You then head into the famous Pu'u Kohola that King Kamehameha built in order to unite the islands under one rule.
