Cowboys of Hawaii
Come ride with Cowboys of Hawaii and see where it all began----the Parker Ranch. Cowboys have been riding horses here for over one-hundred and fifty years. Your Cowboys of Hawaii ride starts at the Blacksmith Shop, going on to the Breaking Pen, through rolling hills to the Stone Corrals, where as many as five-thousand head of Hereford cattle were in years past held after being driven down from the slopes of Mauna Kea. From there you'll be moving on to more historical sites, such as the Race Track where famous Parker Ranch thoroughbreds were trained and still hold world records for speed. Beginner, intermediate and advanced riders can be accommodated from seven years old and over and riders over two-hundred and fifty pounds can be accommodated with prior arrangement. Private rides can be arranged for an additional charge. For those who choose not to ride and are waiting for others there are Wagon Rides, Historical Homes Tours and the Visitors Center and Museum at the Parker Ranch Shopping Center, are alternate activities available.
