| Description: On our exquisite 2-hour walking tour, one of our horticultural experts will point out fascinating facts about the beautiful flowers and plants in our extensive botanical collection and answer questions about tropical plants. Your horticultural guide will first lead you to a spectacular view of Kamaee Falls, proclaimed to be one of Hawaii's most beautiful and pristine waterfalls. This location is a must stop for both novice and professional photographers alike. From there, you will be taking an unhurried stroll through our tropical Rainforest Trail. Watch other guests zipping high in the forest canopy and listen as our experts explain the many and varied uses of tropical plants, allowing you to smell the flowers and taste some of the ripe fruit. Continuing down the trail, you will encounter a quiet, serene, natural spring-fed stream lined by many of Hawaii's unique plants and trees. At the halfway point of your tour, a delicious lunch will be prepared and served for those who reserve in advance. Everyone will be able to partake of dessert – a sampling of fresh fruit from our own gardens. Following the fruit and refreshment break, the group will proceed to our final destination, the magnificent Rainbow Walk. This portion of the tour meanders along a paved walkway surrounded by thousands of tropical plants. This special area provides yet another of the many opportunities for you to take perfect Hawaiian photos to show friends back home. Your guide will point out plants of special interest such as the many wild orchids hiding in our trees and show you other areas where you can wander at your leisure, such as the Arboretum and the Children's Maze.

| Description: On a self-guided tour, you can first drive to the spectacular Kamaee Falls waterfall. Along the way, you can view exotic palms, banana, kukui and hala trees then wind your way through hau, hibiscus and native Hawaiian plants on your way back to the lush Rainforest Trail. Wander along the paved and handicapped accessible Rainforest Trail alongside the tumbling Hanapueo Stream as you examine such tropicals as ginger, heliconia, green and red jade vine and bamboo beneath a shady canopy of rainforest trees. For the adventuresome, you can walk an additional mile through the unpaved Rainforest Trail extension to view the wilder portions of the rainforest as well as a variety of spice trees planted along the trail. Returning to the gardens entrance, you can take our paved walkways through the landscaped Rainbow Walk filled with anthuriums, bromeliads, palms, ti, cinnamon, allspice, the pencil tree and scores of other tropical species. Don't miss the Orchid Wall and the Children's Maze. If you still have time, wander at leisure through the grassy lawns of our Arboretum to view trees filled with flowers, fruits and nuts. Be sure to hunt for the many varieties of orchids blooming in the trees.
