Big Island Eco Adventures is the first canopy tour zip line on the Big Island of Hawaii. Big Islnad Eco Adventures (BIEA) offer eight zip line runs, majestic viewpoints and eco-friendly guides! Located in the scenic Hawi district of the island at the Big Islands Northern most coast in the beautiful Kohala Mountains, the Big Island Eco Adventures Zip-line tours are filled with plenty of fun and excitement. The initial part of the tour involves a ride on a vehicle that takes you way up into the Albesia tree forests deep in the Kohala Mountains to the zip-line course. As is usual with most Hawaii Zip-lines the course starts off with a couple of shorter zips but shortly thereafter spans some mighty gorges. The last couple are guaranteed to be "quite exciting". There are lots of great photo opportunities and the comfortable pace of this adventure and sincere graciousness of your zip-line "guides" is sure to make this a fun and memorable experience.…
| Description: The beautiful North Kohala Coast is one of Hawaii's best kept secrets. Overlooking the incredible Pololu Valley, lies 500 acres of ancient hillside old growth ironwood and albizia, luscious waterfalls and pools. The scent of ginger and guava and the variety of tropical birdsongs create a magical setting for a thrilling, enchanting and exhilarating Zip Line Experience. Tour consists of 8 ziplines, 1 suspension bridge, snacks and beverages in the Mango Hut, overlooking a lush rainforest and ocean view.
Tour Includes: Offroad excursion in 6WD vehicles up the North Kohala mountain side. Clip in and zip across 8 ziplines. Trek across one dry bridge and one suspension bridge overlooking flowing waterfalls.
Departure Point: Check in at BIEA Baseyard on Hawi Road. Next to Kohala Village Inn and Luke's Place follow the signs.
Operates: Daily: from 8:00am to 2:00pm every 30 minutes
