ATV Outfitters Hawaii is certainly unique in terms of ATV rides on the Big Island of Hawaii and unique as well in terms of the entire state of Hawaii. ATV Outfitters Hawaii was the very first ATV company to offer tours in the state of Hawaii. This may be in part to the fact that they offer tours in one of the very most beautiful and historically special places in Hawaii, the Kohala district of the Big Island. The Kohala district is the home to the beautiful and lush Kohala Rainforest. This is a beautiful forest filled with ferns, waterfalls and native Hawaiian trees and native Hawaiian birds. This also has historical significance in that this was the birthplace of King Kamehameha l who was the first Hawaiian chief to unite all the islands of Hawaii into one kingdom. The three tours offered by ATV Outfitters Hawaii each provide a different perspective of this beautiful Kohala district and vary between two and three-and-a-half hours in duration.…
| Description: Climb aboard an ATV for a 15 mile adventure to a private waterfall. Traverse through brisk mountain streams on your way to the entrance of a rainforest filled with native Hawaiian trees and canopies of ferns and flowers before discovering a private secluded waterfall. Your guide will paint a historical picture of the rich culture in the area. A visual rush of panoramic collages makes this a driving experience to remember.*
Departure Point: Hwy 270 just a little past the 24 mile marker, on the left hand side of the Hwy look for ATV Outfitters sign, take first left where you will see a refurbished cowboy cabin in the middle of a green pasture.

| Description: Ride along the beautiful Kohala Coastline on an ATV, cruising on top of a majestic 200 foot ocean cliff side. Continue your journey to a private and secluded bay (once the private property of King Kamehameha) and see a bird"s eye view of a 1930"s lighthouse. Native Hawaiian guides share genuine history and let you enjoy the special beauty. Next you will climb the hill and travel high into the mountains through a cool eucalyptus rainforest and brisk mountain streams. You will then make your way up to the 2000 foot elevation on of the oldest volcano of the Big Island. You will stop at two waterfalls. You will take a short 5 minute walk to the base of one of the falls.*
