Makani Catamaran
The Makani Catamaran is one of the newer catamarans in Oahu's fleet of boats having been built in 2006. This is one of the most beautiful vessels you will find on the island and has fantastic modern amenities. Their offerings include snorkeling along with many others and the vessel is ideal for private charters as well as their normally scheduled tours and they can accommodate as many as eighty persons. If you're looking for a special outing for your group that will be first class, the Makani is a fabulous choice. With regard to snorkeling the folks at Makani Catamaran have put together one of the most interesting programs. Everyone is aware that the snorkeling at Hanauma Bay is some of the best to be found on Oahu and Makani Catamaran has a program that includes round-trip transportation from you Waikiki Hotel or condominium out to Hanauma Bay where you will spend the better part of two hours enjoying this remarkable under-water marine reserve. Your snorkel gear will be provided. When finished you will be picked up and whisked away to Kewalo Basin for a two hour sail aboard the Makani where lunch will be served. Lunch generally will include turkey dogs, tuna, ham, cheese, potato salad, pastries and fresh baked cookies with one complementary drink (however others can be purchased on board). A different three hour snorkel sail is also provided on Makani at the lovely snorkeling location known as Turtle Canyon. This tour is generally in the morning hours between nine and Noon.…

Duration: 3 hours on your own at Hanauma Bay, then a 2 hour sail on the Makani Catamaran.
