Girls Who Surf
Girls Who Surf is a surf school on Oahu that deals with the notion of surfing and offering a wide variety of class options. What better way to learn to surf then have a beautiful girl teach you? Well at least half of you may agree with me on that but all in all it sounds like a great idea! In all actuality Girls Who Surf does have some men instructors as well but not many. This is and educational, adventurous and fun experience that can accommodate beginner, intermediate or advanced skill levels. They have a wide selection of surf locations from which to choose extending from Waikiki all the way out to the North Shore. They take their surfing seriously offering one, two, four, and seven hour surf lessons but they never forget about the reason everyone goes surfing in the first place, and that's to have fun. In many ways "Girls Who Surf" is the quintessential surf school on Oahu in the sense that the provide so much in the way of surfing. If you simply want to have the most introductory of lessons, they have a one hour lesson for you. If you're looking for the more traditional two hour lesson that is generally offered by surf schools they have that as well. But if you are looking to get into the sport of surfing even a little bit further you can end up spending an entire day with your surf instructor checking out a number of different locations along the coast and spending many more hours in the water and just hanging out "talking story" on the beach.…
