Description: Afternoon Whale Watching. All excursions are led by seasoned island naturalist with years of experience on the Wai'anae Coast. Hydrophones (underwater microphones) are also used to listen to the calls of the humpback whales and the dolphins. You will have about two and a half hours of whale watching off the northern Waianae Coast and Kaena Point. Normally there is about a 50/50 chance of seeing Dolphins on this excursion. Whale Sighting Guaranteed.
Operates: Daily, 2:30pm
Departure Point: Departs from the Waianae Boat Harbor - Hotel pickups 12:30 to 1:00pm from the Waikiki area, return to Harbor around 5:00pm and to Waikiki 6:30 to 7:00pm.
Duration: 2.5 hour tour
Equipment: Scarib vessel the 'Nai'a I' is 32 feet, has twin 225 four stroke engines (no fumes and very quiet) and hydrophones for listening to the dolphins and whales.
Capacity: Must have a minimum of 10 to go, maximum of 20 passengers.
