Their trail rides lead back into the Kauaula and Launiupoko Valleys where you will find incredible views of the islands of Lanai, Molokai and Kahoolawe. The owner, Ray Fuqua, is a former High School history teacher. Mr. Fuquas love for Hawaiian history makes his trail rides more than just a beautiful ride but also an educational experience. It was not to long ago that the horses were the primary transportation of the citizens of Maui. Horses were not only used for transportation but also to provide the power to fuel the agricultural and cattle industries of Maui. Going to ride horses amidst the ruins of Maui’s agricultural infrastructure almost makes it feel as it you’ve stepped back in time a hundred years. | Description: Ride along Kauaula Stream on the south rim of Kauaula Valley to a lookout at an approximately 1200-foot elevation. From this vantage point you are able to see the old hydroelectric plant, built in the 1920"s, old sugar cane terraces, irrigation ditches and incredible views all the way to the old Pioneer Mill, Lahaina Town and Harbor. The guides will provide a commentary on Hawaiian history. Snacks and beverages will be served.

| Description: Ride along Kauaula Valley on the south rim all the way over to Launiopoko Valley. The trail is nestled up against the foothills of the West Maui Mountains and offers incredible views of Molokai, Lanai and Lahaina Town and Harbor. Lunch is served at an authentic Hawaiian Hale, situated adjacent to a fresh water reservoir.
