Have you been thinking about going on a diving adventure? Hawaiian Rafting Adventures offers trips departing from the Mala Ramp in Lahaina to go SCUBA diving in the waters off of the island of Lanai. Non-certified beginners and advanced divers alike are welcomed on the days SCUBA adventure. The island of Lanai has many world-class dive spots encircling it and the captain will take you to the spots that he believes will have the best conditions for the days weather. Some spots that are regularly visited include: Cathedrals, Shark Fin Rock, Arm Chairs and many more. On the way to Lanai and back you will pass right through the heart of the whale sanctuary and will undoubtedly see whales if they are in season. However, the dolphins, which you will also most likely run into, do not have a season and stay in Hawaii year round. Not only are the crew of Hawaiian Rafting Adventures great divers but they also volunteer. On the "conservation front" they take the lead, as they are involved in several research projects in Hawaii, the most notable being the NOAA/NASA Marine Optical Buoy Project off the backside of Lanai. | Description: If you"ve never gone diving before and you just want to jump right into the action this is the trip. With this intro dive you will not begin in a swimming pool or in the shallow water off the shore, instead you will start right off of the boat. You will go on a one-tank dive after an intro class taught on the way to Lanai by professional, highly skilled instructors. A medical release is required for all intro divers.

Operates: Monday-Saturday (Sunday during busy season) check in 8:00am return around 1:30pm.

| Description: Go for a 2-tank guide off the coast of Lanai with Hawaiian Rafting Adventures. This trip is for divers with an adult open water certification. Lunch (sandwich, salad, chips, cookies) and beverages (water, sodas, juices) are served on the boat in the interval between the two sites/dives. A few snorkelers may go as space permits to accommodate families or friends of divers, but the focus is on the SCUBA diving experience. Sites are dependant on weather and water conditions. There are 25 or so really great dive sites around Lanai. The best two sites are picked everyday, based on conditions and client wishes, a site cannot be guaranteed, that being said, we do dive the two "Cathedral" sites often, so the probability of diving one of them is good, but not guaranteed.
