Preston Meyers is the owner, founder and operator of Safari Helicopters on Kauai and on the Big Island. Safari Helicopters has been operational in Hawaii since 1987 and provides quality service to its guests. In addition to its touring capabilities Preston's company has been used in the filming of a number of Hollywood movies including: Flight of the Intruder, King of the Jungle, Six Days and Seven Nights and Mighty Joe Young. The accomplishments of Safari Helicopters don't stop there however as Safari Helicopters prides itself in providing service in fire control missions and has flown assignments for the Department of Defense in assisting the military in its efforts to perfect its anti-ballistic missile system. Safari Helicopters has also been the only helicopter company to receive all ten stars (the highest ever awarded) by the Hawaii Helicopter Operator's Association.
