Kauai Sea Tours offers some fantastic snorkeling adventures aboard its fleet of twenty-four foot, fifteen passenger rigid hulled inflatables. These inflatables used by Kauai Sea Tours are specially designed for the water conditions that are often found along the Kauai coastline. The hull itself is a deep V design similar to the ones used by the coast guard and the navy seals. These deep hulls help it cut through the water and provide a smooth and stable ride. They are also very thrilling and very exciting and this is one reason they only allow riders over the age of five years old. On that note, these inflatables are generally recommended for people in moderate to good shape without any back problems. Snorkeling from these boats is very easy and very convenient since you are already at the surface level of the ocean. Their easy and direct access to the ocean also allows guests to jump overboard on quick notice as was the case with me one time when we came across a giant manta ray while traveling he open ocean.
