| Description: Board the Makai and settle in the cushy comfort of the upper deck and cruise to the evenings Manta site. Enjoy the scenic Kona coast as your crew pampers you with snacks and beverages. Upon arrival, move to the lower "wet" deck and prepare for the experience of a lifetime as you anticipate the arrival of the evenings entertainment, the giant Kona Manta Rays. Manta Rays often swim within inches of you as they hold on to the specially designed "Circle of Light" viewing frame. This frame allows Manta Rays to swim up in front of guests not just under them. This not only gives you the opportunity for a better view of the Mantas, it also allows for a safer encounter for the Mantas. Human contact such as accidental kicking of Mantas or touching Mantas, is greatly reduced. After your Manta experience, return to the Makai's warm dry upper deck to share your experience with the other guests. Sit back on the return cruise and enjoy complimentary snacks, hot coffee and sodas. Beer, wine and mixed drinks are available for purchase.

Watch the Giant Kona Manta Rays perform an underwater ballet while you stay dry, safe, cozy and comfortable on the decks of the glass bottom boat, the Spirit of Kona. High intensity lights illuminate the underwater scene. Watch through the large glass bottom windows as the giant manta ray enters and feeds on the plankton forming near the lights under the boat.
